The Waco Downtown Farmer’s Market (WDFM) is pleased to welcome a limited number of handmade craft artisans to our upcoming Handmade Craft Market events. We are looking for local artists who have quality, creative, handmade products. Factory-produced product will NOT be allowed. This is a place for artists to gather together to sell or display their handcrafted, handmade items. The Handmade Craft Market is a special addition of the WDFM, and operates in a pre-assigned area in conjunction with the WDFM.
Categories of the Handmade Craft market to be considered are (but not limited to) crafts such as: baskets, botanicals, candle making, body care such as soaps & lotions, glass, leather, woodworking, metal works, dolls, jewelry, fiber & textile arts, knitting, rug braiding, rug hooking, embroidery, quilting, weaving, looming, spinning, sewing, macramé, painting, wood-carving, clay items (pottery), Other artwork such as calligraphy, handmade cards, photography, prints will be considered.
Marketspread Application Instructions:
Go to Marketspread.com. Click the BLUE button that says “vend, sell, exhibit online”
Select the vendor type: material goods/craft/flea/art.
Complete the basic public profile (information that will be visible to customers).
After you complete your profile, you'll need to apply to the WDFM. Go to the applications tab on the left side of your screen.
Click on the "Find events" button on the upper right corner of the screen. WDFM should populate as a nearby market.
Fill out the application.
Select dates that you plan to attend Market (only select 3rd Saturdays).
Application Fees: All new vendors must pay a $25 application. Applications received without a paid application fee will not be reviewed.
Annual Membership Dues: Handmade Vendors that continue in the next Market Season will be charged an annual membership fee of $35 at the beginning of the new year.
