SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION PROGRAM (SNAP)

Visit the Market Booth and swipe your Lonestar card to receive market tokens to use throughout market on SNAP eligible items. This includes:

  • Fruits and vegetables

  • Meat, poultry, and fish

  • Dairy products

  • Breads and cereals

  • Other foods such as snack foods and non-alcoholic beverages

  • Seeds and plants, which produce food for the household to eat

Alcoholic beverages, body care items, and ready-to-eat food and drinks are not eligible for SNAP

Double Up food bucks

Swipe your Lonestar card and get up to $30 to spend on fruits and vegetables. We’ll match every $1 you spend (up to $30) so you can buy more fruits and vegetables each Saturday. Double Up Food Bucks can be used for:

  • Fruits

  • Vegetables

  • Food plants

  • Seeds

WOMEN, INFANTS & CHILDREN

Stop by the market booth and show us your WIC shopping list to receive $30 (per eligible family member) in WIC vouchers to be used throughout market. You can only receive the vouchers once per year.

WIC vouchers can be used for:

  • Fruits

  • Vegetables

  • Food plants

  • Seeds.

WIC vouchers can be used at Market from April to October. Distribution ends in September. Vouchers can be used through the end of October.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
